In this episode, "A Collector's Magic Flute," George Jellinek talks about Mozart's last opera The Magic Flute and plays excerpts from "some outstanding recorded performances." Excerpts of the first act include performances by Gerhard Husch, Richard Tauber, Erna Berger, Nicolai Gedda and Franz Crass. Excerpts of the second act include performances by Ezio Pinza, Luise Szabo, Alexander Kipnis, Gundula Janowitz, and Erich Kunz.
