Started by music director Alan Gilbert and composer-in-residence Magnus Lindberg during Gilbert's first season in 2009, the New York Philharmonic's CONTACT! Series commissions new works and revives rarely performed works from the last century. This highlights program features works by Carter, Gruber, Boulez and others.
