A new restoration of Bernard Herrmann's score for Alfred Hitchcock's "North By Northwest" is just out, and recently John Williams's music for Hitchcock's "Family Plot" (1976) was issued for the first time.

David Garland features these and other scores from late in Hitchcock's career, including "Topaz" (Maurice Jarre), "Torn Curtain" (John Addison), and "Frenzy" (Ron Goodwin).
