The Young Artists Showcase recently reached a milestone of broadcasting 1,800 shows during nearly 35 years. However, the Young Concert Artists organization has been seeking out and presenting superb talents for 52 years.

This week, violinist Paul Huang and pianist Jessica Osborne of the YCA, pay a visit to the Young Artists Showcase studios to preview a recital they’ll give at Merkin Hall on Oct. 30. The 22-year old violinist started with the first two movements of the Saint-Saens violin sonata, and ended with a bonus encore, Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances.

Program details:

Camille Saint-Saëns: Sonata No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 75, movements Nos. 1 and 2
Olivier Messiaen: Theme and Variations
Béla Bartók: Romanian Folk Dances
— Paul Huang, violin; Jessica Osborne, piano.
