This week, From the Top comes from the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Ind., where you'll hear a 15-year-old cellist perform one of Chopin’s teenage compositions and an 11-year-old violinist play a piece by Hungarian composer Jenö Hubay. Also, an 18-year-old guitarist performs “Andaluza” by Enrique Granados and shares a powerful story about his life and world view.

Violinist Nathan Meltzer, 11, from Bloomington, Ind., performs Hejre Kati, Scènes de la csárda, No. 4, Op. 32 by Jenö Hubay.

Guitarist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Tyler Rhodes, 18, from Austin, Texas, performs Spanish Dance No.5, "Andaluza" by Enrique Granados.

Cellist Sydney Lee, 15, from Oakland, N.J., performs Introduction & Polonaise Brillante, Op. 3 by Frédéric Chopin.

Quartet Tzigane (violinist Graydon Tope, 15, from Minneapolis; violist Sloane Wesloh, 15, from Stillwater, Minn.; cellist Parker Tope,13, from Minneapolis; and pianist Evren Ozel,13, from Minneapolis) performs IV. Allegro Molto from Piano Quartet in D minor by William Walton.

Pianist Evelyn Mo, 13, from Oak Hill, Va., performs L’isle joyeuse by Claude Debussy.
