Beethoven's symphonies are the ABCs of most essential single composers' oeuvre of the symphonic literature. Who ever having heard the Waldstein well performed can ever forget its beauty and nuanced scope of emotions. Wagner and his contemporaries and their successors all recognized the epic achievement of Beethoven. ONLY THE BEST is so appreciated by most people that I have scheduled to sing and make commentary on the composers, lyricists and artists with whom i have sung, studied or have advised me on my singing, acting and composing, who figure prominently in the program entitled "GREATEST LOVE SONGS OF THE BROADWAY MUSICALS, MOVIES, AND THE GRAMMY AWARDS FOR THE SONGS JUDGED BEST FOR THE YEAR" for this SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10th from 1 to 4:30 PM, a three and one half hour concert with 66 love songs complete, at the LAKE HIAWATHA LIBRARY at 68 NOKOMIS AVENUE, LAKE HIAWATHA, NJ. The concert is free. As part of my Ten Language Solo Debut concert at the Isaac Stern Auditorium of Carnegie Hall, I sang the Gott ! welch dunkel hier ! aria of Fidelio. it can be heard from the live performance on my three websites. It received rave critical notices in newspapers and magazines.

I am an 82 year old retiree living on a fixed income. WQXR is my favorite classical music station. Lately I have been having a problem receiving its stream through my Mac computer. All I get is a repetitive commercial for "Ethan Hawke", etc. but no music! What is the problem? Can you help me fix it, please. Thank you. Sincerely, Fred Holtz. (e-mail): mahler10016@ yahoo.com
