Imani Winds (Matthew Murphy)

On Monday night, WQXR presented a special evening honoring the African American experience in classical music. This week's show features that event, with performances and conversation by the Imani Winds, pianists Roy Eaton and Donal Fox, and bass-baritone Joe Damon Chappel.

WQXR’s Terrance McKnight and Q2 Music’s Helga Davis host this show, which looks at the struggles and triumphs of African Americans in classical music.
