A much-loved masterpiece, Puccini’s Madame Butterfly combines an exotic setting with true, verismo passions, in a cautionary tale warning that the meeting of divergent cultures can lead to both rich rewards, and tragic misunderstanding.

This production comes from the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and stars Hui He as Cio Cio San and Roberto Alagna as Pinkerton.
