Pianist and conductor Jeffrey Kahane is one of today's most admired Mozart interpreters. He made his conducting debut at the Oregon Bach Festival in 1988, conducting a Mozart concerto from the keyboard. In the 2005-06 season, he performed all 23 of the Mozart piano concertos as part of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. On this week's broadcast from the New York Philharmonic, Kahane leads three Mozart concertos from the keyboard, from the lesser-known No. 6 to the popular No. 25.
