Painting Music

Wonderfully colorful music has been composed to celebrate the dramatic, artistically heroic lives of painters in films such as "Lust for Life," with Kirk Douglas as Vincent Van Gogh and "Pollock," with Ed Harris as Jackson Pollock.

Host David Garland offers scores by Miklos Rozsa and by Jeff Beal from those movies, and also music by Elliot Goldenthal from "Frida," Alex North from "The Agony and the Ecstasy," and Simon Fisher-Turner from "Caravaggio."
