This week, Q2 spikes its programming with the music of New York composer David Lang. On Sunday, November 8th at 8pm, Q2 will stream live the U.S. choral premiere of Lang’s Pulitzer Prize-winning The Little Match Girl Passion in a performance by Harold Rosenbaum’s New York Virtuoso Singers in The Jerome L. Greene Space.
David Lang will join WNYC’s John Schaefer onstage for a conversation about the origins of this exciting new work.
Please join us for this exciting event--which also has the distinction of being Q2's first Web cast--and for continued exposure to the music of David Lang, a New York new music icon.

If you would like to listen to a live stream of the performance, please visit WQXR.org on Sunday evening.
You can also find a story from Lang himself about how WNYC became a lucky charm for him and for this piece on the Do You Q2 blog.
