Vladimir Spivakov as Conductor

As part of ViolinFest, Symphony Hall is focusing this week on violinsts-turned-conductors. Tonight, we turn our attention to Vladimir Spivakov on the podium and as a soloist.

The founder and conductor of Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra, and music director of Russian National Orchestra, Spivakov also has an extensive career as a soloist who trained at the Moscow Conservatory.
