Winners of Juilliard's Gina Bachauer Competition

The new season of The McGraw Hill Companies Young Artists Showcase open with performances from Eric Zuber and Sean Chen, the winners of this year's Gina Bachauer Competition at the Juilliard School.

Eric Zuber, a pianist from Baltimore, is in his second year of the master of music degree program and is a student of Robert McDonald at Juilliard. He was a finalist in the 2010 National Chopin Piano Competition and is headed to Warsaw in October for the 2010 Chopin International Piano Competition.

A native of Oak Parks, California, Sean Chen is also a master of music degree student at Juilliard. He studies with Jerome Lowenthal and Matti Raekallio, and spent part of his summer at the Sendai International Music Competition in June and will be attending the Gijón International Piano Festival in Gijón, Spain this month.
