Birdsong, Electronic Music and Under the Radar Artists with Tobias Fischer

Nashville Warbler (Fluid Radio)

Berlin-based journalist and author Tobias Fischer is the founder of Fifteen Questions, a music magazine run together with music and food writer Lara Corey with the intent of "documenting one of music's most turbulent and exciting eras." The magazine highlights under-the-radar artists with unorthodox approaches to sound, from field recordings to ambient music to new-music composers.

Tobias and Lara have just published their first book, "Animal Music" about the sounds, communication and art in the animal world.

For this episode of Sample Rate, Fischer offers a largely electroacoustic, animal-colored playlist of composers he's interviewed for Fifteen Questions.

Sample Rate streams Fridays at 7 pm and Sundays at 10 am.
