Carlisle and Irving -- Comden

Sunday, February 12, 1984

Due to the postponement of Garrick Ohlsson's appearance, Bob Sherman brings us a repeat of two episodes of The Listening Room featuring Kitty Carlisle Hart, George S. Irving, and Betty Comden. Kitty Carlisle Hart and George S. Irving talk about their show On Your Toes and trends in musicals. We hear recordings of Irving and of Carlisle, and they sing a duet together live on the program. The other episode features Betty Comden who talks about being an actress, the play Isn't It Romantic and the short-lived A Doll's Life.
