Tune in Wednesday at 9 pm, as the Showcase returns to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) to feature music from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s 2015 summer residency. During this three-week stint last August, emerging artists rehearsed and presented a series of concerts with society members.

Following up on last week's presentation, we will hear the final three movements of Mendelssohn’s String Octet — the Andante, Scherzo and Presto. Afterward, CMS co-artistic directors David Finckel and Wu Han will lead Avery Fisher Career Grant recipients Arnaud Sussmann and Matthew Lipman in Schumann’s Piano Quartet in E-flat Major. The episode concludes with Strauss’s string sextet from his opera Capriccio
