During this Independence Day weekend our country's founding fathers are acknowledged and celebrated. Here on Movies on the Radio we celebrate cinematic fathers, with heartfelt music that has an American flair.

David Garland presents Elmer Bernstein's "To Kill A Mockingbird," John Williams' "Lincoln," and several other stirring film scores.

I suspect I'm not alone in suggesting that you -- and your show -- are the best thing I've ever heard on ANY radio station anywhere in the Western world ... and I've heard quite a few shows on any number of classical music stations on three continents.
