This Monday at 10 pm, Elliott Forrest hosts a program dedicated to the composer Johannes Brahms. First we'll hear Ligeti's "Hommage à Brahms," a trio featuring pianist Jeremy Denk, violinist Erin Keefe and horn player Jennifer Montone. This is followed by Brahms's own Sonata in G major for Violin and Piano with Benjamin Beilman and Gilbert Kalish.

David Finckel, co-artistic director of the Chamber Music Society, provides additional commentary.
