Spring has sprung, and summer is steadily approaching. Before we get to the hottest, most humid days, let's comfortably hear them evoked in music created for films.

David Garland presents highlights from "Summer and Smoke," "Smiles Of A Summer Night," "Picnic," "Summer Of '42," "A Summer Place," and other movies that convey the joy and memories of summer, as well as the heat.

Final one? Please tell me it is only until the Proms are completed.
This is my favorite program of any media type, and I go great lengths to never miss it
