This week the Young Artists Showcase introduces Ukrainian-born pianist Stanislav Khristenko, the gold medalist at the 2013 Cleveland International Piano Competition. We hear a wide range of styles and composers, from Rameau and Bach to Debussy and Prokofiev, all of whom helped usher Khristenko to the winner's circle in Cleveland.
After hearing Khristenko solo, we'll hear him with the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, as soloist in a Mozart concerto, recorded live in Brussels.
