Tuesday, October 7 at 8 pm, join us for the final installment of our 2014 Lucerne Festival coverage. Ensemble Recherche performs works by Swiss composer Klaus Huber and three composers influenced by his work - Heinz Holliger, Brice Pauset and Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf.
Recorded September 13 in Switzerland and performed by the German Ensemble Recherche, the concert features two trios by Klaus Huber, a composer whose oeuvre is characterized by an unwavering faith in artistic utopias.
Alongside Huber's works are three world premieres commissioned by the Lucerne Festival from three composers influenced by Huber: Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf, Brice Pauset, and Heinz Holliger.
Klaus Huber: Des Dichters Pflug for String Trio
