James Austin Smith and Bridget Kibbey perform at Look and Listen on April 30, 2016 (Look and Listen)

Hosted by Terrence McKnight, the second concert of the 2016 Look and Listen Festival featured interviews with performers, composers and featured visual artist, Brendan Fernandes.

The program began with Kaija Saariaho's Fall for harp and electronics, performed by Bridget Kibbey. Next on the program was the winner of the 2011 Look and Listen Composers Competition, Driving Force by Zibuokle Martinaityte, played by Mike Lormand on trombone, Ryan Muncy on saxophone, and Art Bailey on accordion. 

Kibbey returned to the stage with oboist James Austin Smith to perform Trilogy by Elliott Carter. The concert ended with selections from Meredith Monk's Book of Days, performed by members of the Meredith Monk Vocal Ensemble and M6.
