Arvo Pärt and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in The Temple of Dendur Arvo Pärt and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in The Temple of Dendur (Stephanie Berger/Metropolitan Museum of Art)

On Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 pm ET, celebrate the 80th birthday of Arvo Pärt with a live audio webcast of the New Juilliard Ensemble's sold-out show from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Temple of Dendur gallery. Helga Davis hosts.

Led by Joel Sachs – New Juilliard Ensemble director and early catalyst for Pärt's emergence in the United States – the concert features an array of familiar and unfamiliar, classic and new arrangements of the Estonian composer's works for smaller ensemble.

This webcast streams during Q2 Music's encore presentation of A World Apärt – a 24-hour marathon stream compiled by noted Pärt scholar Toomas Siitan sharing the music of one of the most revolutionary voices of the 21st century.
