Listen: Roomful of Teeth and ICE Perform Claude Vivier's 'Kopernikus' at Ojai Music Festival

Vocal octet Roomful of Teeth and the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) presented Claude Vivier's "ritual opera" Kopernikus at the Ojai Music Festival on June 12, 2016. Roomful of Teeth vocalist Eric Dudley conducted the staged performance that afternoon in the Libbey Bowl. 

Vivier, a 20th-century Canadian composer, completed both the music and libretto for Kopernikus in 1979This performance was the opera's US premiere. 

This on-demand music is part of a partnership between Q2 Music and the Ojai Music Festival to share live recordings from the festival dating back to the 2012 season.
