On June 8, 2013, an ensemble known as the "Ojai In-C Players" assembled to perform Terry Riley's 1964 landmark composition In C at the Ojai Music Festival. Taking advantage of the piece's open-ended instrumentation, the In-C Players assembled four pianists, ten percussionists and a sizable complement of winds and strings.

Musicologist Christopher Hailey identifies In C as "the first Minimalist piece," in the program note from this performance.

This on-demand music is part of a new partnership between Q2 Music and the Ojai Music Festival to share live recordings from the festival dating back to the 2012 season.
