For Mother's Day, David Garland presents a bouquet of music for moms in the movies.

From evocations of maternal tenderness by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Georges Delerue, and Alexandre Desplat, to the harrowing mother-and-child relationships depicted in "Mommie Dearest" and "Psycho II," the music gives us quite a range of mother's moods.

Glad to hear a little bit of "Our Mother's House". What a terrific movie it is and Delerue's music fits perfectly. I wish it would be released on DVD. Shows up about once every two years on TCM. Another fine show, David. Do you have a cold or is it allergies?
