Host David Dubal continues his tour of The Sounds of Spain this week with several pieces that capture aspects of Spanish life, popular music and dance.

The program features Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli playing Domenico Scarlatti's C-minor Sonata, Mirian Conti playing Isaac Albeniz's Cordoba, and Alicia de Laroccha playing Enrique Granados's Allegro appassionato from his Romantic Scenes.

I absolutely love when Spanish music or Spanish inspired music is featured on WQXR. I enjoyed having this play on the radio as I went to bed the other night :)
