This week, From the Top is at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts in New Albany, Ohio, where you'll hear the Concert Paraphrase on “Rigoletto” by Franz Liszt and the fanciful Capriccio by Lucas Foss performed by a 16-year-old cellist. Also, a talented 17-year-old percussionist performs "Scirocco" for solo marimba by Michael Burritt.

Program details:

Flutist Audrey Watkins, 17, from Worthington, Ohio, performs III. Presto giocoso from the Sonata for Flute and Piano by Francis Poulenc.

Percussionist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Eric Goldberg, 17, from Chicago, performs "Scirocco" for solo marimba by Michael Burritt.

Mezzo-soprano Michaella Cipriani, 17, from Westerville, Ohio, and violist Eva Kennedy, 18, from Worthington, Ohio, perform "Geistliches Wiegenlied" (Sacred Lullaby) from Two Songs for Alto, Viola and Piano, Op.91, No.2 by Johannes Brahms.

Cellist Bryan Park, 16 from Bloomington, Ind., performs "Capriccio" by Lukas Foss.

Pianist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Eden Chen, 13, from Rowland Heights, Calif., performs "Concert Paraphrase on Rigoletto" S.434 by Franz Liszt.
