On October 4, 2012, New Music New Haven opened its 2012-2013 season with a concert featuring faculty composer and series co-director Christopher Theofanidis alongside works by Yale graduate students Daniel Schlosberg, Paul Kerekes, Stephen Feigenbaum, William Gardiner and Polina Nazaykinskaya.
Theofanidis was represented by his piece Allegory of the Cave, for string quartet and piano, based on Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" from The Republic. Listen to individual pieces below.
