New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players at WQXR (David Wannen – Bass and Executive Director)

Back in the day, performances by the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players were regular occurrences on WQXR. Tonight, for the first time in many years, we resurrect that tradition. Joining host Bob Sherman in the studio are junior members of the company and their longtime artistic director and general manager for a very fun hour of music and conversation.

NYGASP has been North America’s preeminent professional G&S repertory ensemble for nearly 42 years. Artistic director Albert Bergeret infuses dedication and exuberance into the company’s mission making it stand out not only in performances but through education.

For more information on the company’s upcoming performances at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, please visit the company's website.
