A New York Philharmonic Winter Holiday Jukebox

Tune in at 9 pm this week when the New York Philharmonic digs into its archives for a winter holiday program featuring Mozart’s German Dance in C, also known as “Sleigh Ride,” and Poulenc's Gloria in C, both conducted by Leonard Bernstein. Also on the program is Prokofiev’s 3 Selections from Winter Bonfire-Children’s Suite, Op. 122; Skitch Henderson’s arrangement of selections from Winter Holiday, conducted by and piano performed by Henderson; and Danny Kaye conducting Johann Strauss II’s overture to Die Fledermaus.
