Bill McGlaughlin begins a two-week exploration through the catalog of works written and performed by African-American musicians. Guided by Eileen Southern's book, The Music of Black Americans, he'll touch upon the music of Scott Joplin, Nathaniel Dett, William Grant Still, Florence Price, and many others.

I don't know what I'm listening to right this minute (11:31 pm, Friday evening, February 26th, 2016) but it's absolutely wonderful! Tuneful, fun, spirited, inspired and altogether lovely. Thank you!! (I need to go to bed but I don't want to turn it off!...)
