Ravishing singing by the always superb DiDonato. And Brownlee was very impressive indeed. Two fine bel canto singers. Saw the original production at the Met last season, and after this enchanting performance, am inspired to go to it next week.

Bel Canto is having its day
In Rossini's wonderful way,
Two glorious voices,
And both inspired choices,
For moments like this, I oft' pray.
