From its home in New York's Alice Tully Hall, the Chamber Music Society this week presents a program of works by by Prokofiev and Shostakovich.

Program details:

Prokofiev: Quintet in G minor, Op. 39
Stephen Taylor, oboe; Alexander Fiterstein, clarinet; Harumi Rhodes,violin; Richard O’Neill, viola; Kurt Muroki, bass.

Shostakovich: Piano Quintet in G minor, Op. 57
Anne-Marie McDermott, piano; Ani Kavafian, Ida Kavafian, violin; Paul Neubauer, viola; Fred Sherry, cello.
