Sarasota Music Festival takes place in the Sarasorta Opera House (Sarasota Opera House)

Join us on Wednesday evening at 9pm for the first of a two-part program of performances from the 2016 Sarasota Music Festival.

This episode, we bring you a selection of music composed by Dvořák, Nielsen, Khachaturian, and many more on live recordings from Holley Hall at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center and the Sarasota Opera House.

Ever since the Sarasota Music Festival’s founding in 1965, young musicians have flocked down south in June for the chance to experience three weeks of one-of-a-kind chamber music intensives, including master classes, recitals, and rehearsals.
