No occupation is so delightful to me as the culture of the earth, and no culture comparable to that of the garden.” – Thomas Jefferson

Rock, hanging, vegetable... kitchen, herb and shade. Gardens come in all shapes, sizes and configurations. Some are grown for practical reasons, others for aesthetic. This week on All Ears, it’s a tour of one of the loveliest varieties of garden: musical.

Old and new, near and far, secret and public, guest host Lauren Rico explores the beautiful delights that composers and songwriters have nurtured over the centuries.

I always thoroughly enjoy your programme, All Ears, including the guest hosts you have had the last few weeks. However, is this the beginning of the end? Are you no longer hosting All Ears? Your guest hosts have been enjoyable and interesting, but there is no substitute, so to speak, so please let me know if you are coming back, Mr. McKnight.
In addition, a couple of the latest programmes have not been available for streaming and I stream you programmes frequently. Will they be available soon?
Thank you,
Rita Jones
