Tune in Saturday at 1 pm as soprano Sondra Radvanovsky sings the role of Queen Elizabeth I in the third of Donizetti's three Tudor queens operas to be staged at the Met this year. Mezzo Elīna Garanča and baritone Mariusz Kwiecien round out this strong cast as the Duke and Duchess of Nottingham.
Bel Canto specialist Maurizio Benini leads the David McVicar production, which premiered this season. Mary Jo Heath hosts the broacast.
