Zoltan Kodaly’s opera "Háry János" starts off with a musical sneeze. That’s because there’s a superstition that if you sneeze while you’re telling a story it must be true. However, the character Hary Janos wasn’t always truthful. Listen to his tall tale this week on Classics for Kids.

Music used within the program (all from "Háry János" Suite):

Prelude

Viennese Musical Clock

Song

The Battle and Defeat of Napoleon

Intermezzo

Entrance of the Emperor and his Court
