Pianist Fei-Fei Dong returns to Young Artists Showcase, Wednesday at 9 pm, for the first time since she won the Gina Bachauer Competition at Juilliard and the Concert Artists Guild’s 2014 Victor Elmaleh Competition. In this live studio session, Dong plays works by Mozart, Liszt and Chopin, as well as a traditional Chinese tune arranged by Jianzhong Wang, the evocatively-titled "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon."

Now on the roster of the Concert Artists Guild, Dong will perform at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Program Playlist (all performances by Fei-Fei Dong):

Chopin: Waltz in A-flat major, Op. 42

Mozart: Piano Sonata No. 18 in D major, K. 576

Liszt: Réminiscences de Don Juan, S.418

Traditional Chinese: "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" (arr. Jianzhong Wang)

Loved the FeiFei Dong program this evening. Wish I could do Carnegie Hall performance. She is a very gifted pianist -- very musical and with amazing technique I particularly liked the Chopin and Mozart. My only criticism -- audio did not have very good fidelity ( I have Bose speakers) and I even had some trouble understanding male host of the show. It is a great idea to showcase talents of these young performers. Thanks for doing so.
