Gil and Orli Shaham live in the Greenespace (WQXR / The Greene Space)

Before the brother and sister team of violinist Gil Shaham and pianist Orli Shaham became internationally known, the two were budding talents on the Young Artists Showcase. On this episode, Gil, who made his concerto debut at 10 years old with the Jerusalem Symphony, performs a movement from Bach’s Second Violin Sonata. Orli, an accomplished pianist and radio host, plays pieces by Avner Dorman and Johannes Brahms. The siblings also come together for works by Dvořák and Beethoven, all recorded live for a special audience of supporters in the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space.
