This week host Bill McGlaughlin continues his exploration of the world and music of the great Russian Romantic Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, focusing on the latter part of his life. We'll listen to his symphonies and ballets and explore his life at the Moscow Conservatory.

Surely you could have found a recording of the Rococo Variations played by the incomparable Rostropovitch! I heard him perform them live, and it was pure delight molded by pure genius.
