The Vienna Piano Trio Plays Beethoven, Schoenberg and Brahms

This week from The Frick Collection, we’ll hear selections from a concert by The Vienna Piano Trio. The trio was founded in 1988, and throughout their career has performed in all the major concert venues and festivals of Europe, the Americas, Australia and Asia. They also have an extensive recording career, which has earned them a number of awards, including Gramophone Editor’s Choice and BBC Radio’s Record of the month.
This is the second time the Vienna Piano Trio has performed at The Frick Collection, they were on this stage for the first time back in 2006. For this concert, the trio performed works by Beethoven, Schoenberg and Brahms.
