This past October, Q2 Music teamed up with Het Klankcafé, a Dutch radio program about the classical music scene in today's world, to present live interviews and performances from the Netherland Club in Manhattan.

Hosted by Het Klankcafé's Louis Gauthier and Q2 Music's Phil Kline, the show focused on the music of Dutch icon and godfather to the Bang on a Can collective, composer Louis Andriessen, but also featured music by the younger Dutch composer and pianist, Ruben Naeff.

Louis Andriessen: Raadsels (Tosca Opdam, violin)
Louis Andriessen: Excerpt from Anaïs Nin (Augusta Caso, soprano; Jerome Tan, piano)
Ruben Naeff: Aftermath: Wat te doen na mijn eindexamen (Ruben Naeff and David Friend, piano)
Johannes Brahms: "Scherzo in C minor" from the F.A.E. Sonata (Tosca Opdam, violin)
Henriette Bosmans: Arietta (Tosca Opdam, violin)

Watch the complete evening below.

Broadcast from VondelCS Studios in Amsterdam, Het Klankcafé ("Soundcafé"), is a monthly live radio show in which host Louis Gauthier brings classical music to today’s world. Gauthier welcomes well-known artists as well as yet unknown but promising young performers. During the lighthearted interviews, Gauthier speaks with artists about their inspiration, motivation and dreams, while allowing time for live performance.
