WQXR 50th Anniversary Show [Album # 25]

Host Bob Sherman dedicates this program to pianist Vladimir Horowitz and replays his first ever live broadcast from Carnegie Hall in 1951. The recording features just the second half of the performance. In addition to the performance, WQXR music director Abram Chasins recounts his experience with the broadcast.
