The stock market tumbled again Thursday after investors' already bleak view of the world economy worsened with another drop in the euro and disappointing U.S. employment news.

Theatres have made more than $228 million at the box office so far this year, compared to around $216 million this time last year, according to The New York Times.

Sony Pictures Entertainment announced Monday it would lay off 450 people, or 6.5 percent of its company, by the first week of March.
