  • Johnathan, The original album is out of print but the same recording is available on a different CD; we've linked to this one at Arkiv Music. It's the same performance, just a different recording.

  • Charles, The Search function at the top of any WQXR page does allow you to search the playlists by composer name and/or piece title. Let us know if there's something you haven't been able to find.

  • Our Playlists page (http://www.wqxr.org/playlists/) allows you to find pieces based on the time and day. Click on the correct day in the calendar tool on the right and scroll through the times (listed reverse chronologically) until you find the piece. Alternatively, if you know the day and something about the piece, you can use the search function on your browser to find it. Unfortunately, there is no longer a way to access playlists ahead of time. See more about this on our audio help page at http://www.wqxr.org/audio/help/.

  • Richard, We've remedied the troubles with the Interviews page. Let us know if it happens again. Unfortunately, we don't have the rights to allow the interviews to be downloaded. We're currently working to further develop the player and we'll take your suggestion into consideration. Thanks!

  • There has been a misunderstanding about the topic of this blog. It was meant to facilitate discussion around being passionate about music, not the dispersal of music. Concerns about the inaccessibility of the Listener Services blog from the WQXR site are justified. The link to "Join the Discussion" on the home page now takes you there. You can follow this link to access the WQXR issue directly, though in both cases, you will still have to scroll to the bottom of the page to post: http://blogs.wnyc.org/listenerservices/2009/10/16/listener-services-forum-wqxr/ We apologize to those who feel their voices have not been heard. We assure you that your concerns have been noticed and we are working to provide listeners with a radio station they enjoy.
