I WONT BACK DOWN by Tom Petty & The HEARTBREAKERS

September 11 should be marked as a day of resolve and courage which is why the song "I Won't Back Down", by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers should be played as part of your programing on that day: Tom Petty and his band performed that song on the telethon ("A Tribute to Heroes; to raise funds for the Sept 11 victims); it was unique as it was the only song (that I recall in the program) & performance that was "Defiant / Challenging" to those who attacked us and was not weepy or maudlin.

The Sept 11 dead & injured were victims of an attack by non- nation state terrorists who were supported / sponsored by Afghanistan - Iran - Saudi Arabia. Our remembrance of Sept 11 should be a message of courage and defiance to all terrorists and their secular and theological supporters.
