The Neue Will Offer Free Tics Fridays

Friday, November 20, 2009

Visitors arriving between 6 and 8 pm will be able to visit the museum for free on the first Friday of every month.

The program will begin next month, on Friday, December 4th, and is funded through a grant from Bloomberg.

The Neue Galerie features works by German and Austrian artists, and currently is showing works from co-founder Serge Sabarsky's collection. Those include pieces by artists such as Gustav Klimt, Max Beckmann and Oskar Kokoschka. That exhibit runs through February.
