Apple has posted its most profitable quarter ever. In the last three months of 2009, the company sold twice as many iPhones and 33 percent more computers than the same quarter last year.
Tomorrow, Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs, will deliver the annual keynote speech at the Macworld conference, where he's expected to unveil a major new product. Analysts expect it will be a tablet-style computer.
While Apple sold 21 million iPods, it was an 8 percent decline from the previous quarter. Sales of the iPod have been hurt by the popularity of another product, the iPhone.
