We Are The Knights' Documentary Explores Orchestra's Origins

Airing all month in September on WNET Thirteen in New York City is a new original documentary film about WQXR's first ever Artist-In-Residence, The Knights. Titled We Are The Knights, the film chronicles the lives and story of how Colin and Eric Jacobsen came to form the Brooklyn-based chamber orchestra.

Hosted by former CNN anchor Paula Zahn, the film takes the viewer behind the scenes of The Knights includes interviews with artists, family members and orchestra players as well as footage of the group's unique rehearsals and captivating performances. You'll see the wide range of musical composers represented by the Jacobsens' innovative arrangements that are getting attention among audiences and critics.

The film will be re-aired on local Public Television stations at the following times:

WNET - 9/11 - 02:30 pm
WLIW - 9/11 - 05:30 pm
NJTV - 9/15 - 09:30 pm
NJTV - 9/16 - 03:30 am (overnight into 9/17)
NJTV - 9/18 - 08:30 pm
